Its also tru that the industry is missing the market opportunity that was exposed by the success of "Pirates". Consumers want content that is entertaining on a number of levels.   Oh you guys are right. I forgot that "Pirates" and "Whos Nailin Palin" were stolen so much that the respective companies lost money on them..... Give me a break. Ive never seen a Pirates scene on edit, the biggest tube site out there, where a scene can be seen 3-5 million times. I have seen a few scenes from the first "pirates" on edit, but if there are any "pirates" scenes on edit now, they arent getting many viewers. The movie just cant be appreciated by watching any one of the scenes.   ^ Its not that production values will prevent thieves from stealing, its that better product would be more resistant to the most pernicious factors in decimating industry revenues; tube sites, and amatuer porn. Tube sites and amatuer porn have both taken off because consumers no longer have to buy dvds to be able to obtain the scenes.
