  Open-toe platforms with spike heels are the bomb. Women wearing these increase their sex appeal 1000%. Don't take them off during the scene. And please let's see them on-camera - nothing's more annoying than cameramen who frame their shots from the knees up.

  Well since someone just claimed to love pointy shoes, let me just say that I can't stand them. I also don't like any kind of shoe that hides the toes, which pretty much rules out any kind of boot too. What I do love are open-toe platform heels, especially with straps and spike heels. These beauties ( <link> ) may be my all-time favorite - I've seen many gorgeous porn stars in these. Shoes are like little pedestals that beautiful women should be placed upon, and I love to see their sexy feet and toes tied up like little bondage slaves. I don't want to inflict any pain - I just love it when women go out in public (or on video) and display their gorgeous pedicured feet this way.

  Re: seeing toes, I'm right there with you. In fact, the best shoes IMHO cover as little of the foot as possible. They're really an ornamentation for the foot, with a little bondage and domination thrown in :-)

  There are 3 kinds of people: those who love shoes, those who love bare feet, and those who couldn't care less. Personally I agree with UKDave - sexy shoes are very important to me, and I spend a lot of time trying to locate porn that features them. If I were a director, every girl would be wearing spike-heel platform shoes, start to finish. And those shoes would be on-camera, somehow, most of the time ...

  You've expressed porn's biggest problem very nicely here: Most book an incredible hotty but ruin the scene with crappy filming and I'm tired of throwing my money away to these idiot directors. Getting back to your video/magazine comparison, people have been taking stills of nude women for well over 100 years, while gonzo video is a relatively new art form. Also, with most magazines you get to inspect the actual content before buying; most videos are bought based on the box cover, so there is less financial incentive to shooting them well.

  I love women's feet. I find them very sexy, don't know why. But dress them in sexy shoes and I'm in heaven! I think shoes are like jewelry for the feet, or at least the sexy ones are. So I'm not interested in boots, or even closed-toe pumps, which just hide the foot. Nicely pedicured feet in strappy platform sandals are my favorite; they're like beautiful, made-up women in bondage, set up on a pedestal. Now honestly, does anyone really think these girls would look better barefoot? <link>

  Well I have discovered, after exhaustive research (the things we do for science ...), that some of the best directors from a shoe perspective are Jake Malone, Skeeter Kerkove, and Max. These guys know how to dress a girl *and* keep her shoes in the shot. Thanks fellas. God bless you. Can anyone recommend some more recent stuff that keeps the shoes in-frame? There are so many new hotties, and Jake, Skeeter and Max are getting a little long in the tooth.

  It's great to see this topic revived. Apparently I'm not the only one interested in shoes. I'm still a little amazed to read people hatin' on the platforms. To me, a shoe with a thin sole just isn't sexy. Perhaps viewers are starting to tire of those ubiquitous patent leather or transparent shoes with 3&quot; soles? But really there is a tremendous variety of sexy footwear for girls (and their directors) to choose from. I think the &quot;shoes in the shot&quot; problem comes down to a lack of imagination really. Directors want the face, tits, and ass in the shot; getting shoes in there too might mean pulling too far back. The secret is to keep looking for different angles, and don't be afraid to twist your little harlot up like a pretzel...

  Thanks for the replies. I'm a big Jules fan of course, but he's really what I'm complaining about: dressing the girls in these awesome shoes and then shooting the sex from the knees up. Honestly, if you're going to do that, I'd prefer you just leave her barefoot. And I certainly hope platforms never go out of style. In fact I love platform flats too. I'll check out the other recommendations as well. Thanks again for taking the time to help me out.

  There's nothing I love more than a hot babe wearing sexy shoes. Especially spike-heel platforms. Like <link> . Or <link> . Or OMG <link> . Luckily these are pretty much standard-issue in porn. But most directors/cameramen seem to prefer to leave shoes out of the shot. Or even worse, they pull them off when the action's about to get hot'n'heavy. I'm not looking for shoe or foot fetish flicks. I just want to see those beautiful feet inside those beautiful shoes, while she's getting her throat fucked and ass reamed. Is that really too much to ask? Are there any series or directors that routinely show shoes for some considerable portion of the scene? Or am I condemned forever to this hell ...
