  Sorry, I should have clarified what I meant' by saying unpleasant things. I have chatted with a few women over the years, and some had mentioned bad experiences when it came to "first time" physical examinations, which I think could be pretty traumatic at 16 years old, and having to deal with menstrual periods. Childbirth being a huge life changing event, albeit rewarding.   I know that this is not usually an event that most women time, but I do appreciate the effort from the ladies. I always found this to be a very interesting subject, and learning is never a bad thing. Women are very lucky to be able to achieve these very intense moments, that being said though, most women have to go through a lot more unpleasant things then men, and being able to experience these extended orgasms is very well deserved.

  I think this would be a reference too the so called "status orgasmus", and from what I understand, these type of orgasms are a bit more rare, but the intensity scale is usually off the charts. But this is truly a question that needs to be answered from a female perspective, and it does provide a sense of intrigue for the men.
