  I read somewhere that men are more visual and women are more intellectual when it comes to sex. My wife is a perfect example. If you were to give her a choice of a porn flick or reading a porn short stories forum she would go for the stories most every time.

  I have mentioned it to my wife and she is cautious and suggested I research it. That is how I found out it is a piercing that will not close up like other piercings. I have been looking on a website called bodymod.org but I think their site is biased and I am decided to ask the question on this site. I have though about having an ear pierced but I work in a professional setting and with the risk of having the hole close up on a week long seminar I figured I could go with a PA and that way I could also wear it when I wanted and would not have to worry about have to be re pierced.   I have been contemplating getting a PA piercing. I have done some research on it but I have not been able to find any feedback from guys who have one and how their sex partners like or dislike the hardware during intercourse as well as how long they keep the same jewellery in or if they leave it out during extreme sports or activities. Looking for input on this before I make my final decision. I know a PA piercing won;t close up like other piercings.

  I have noticed it seems to only be pevelant in the morning typically which could be the dehydration aspect. I don't think it has anything to do with the sperm since I have a vacetomy a few years ago. I have always had this as long as I could remember.

  I have noticed over the years my semen varies from time to time on it's consistency. Sometimes it's thick and milky other times there are little globs that look like gel that are mixed in. Just wondered if anyone else has the same.

  I don't want to seek sex outside my marriage. I was curious what other couples had done in this situation. Sneaking out of town for a quickie every now and again would not solve the problem. When my wife has brought up the subject of me marrying someone else or finding someone for sexual relief I have told her that it would not solve the problem and that I love her too much to do that. With three kids I would not risk having to explain my actions. My wife is under medical care right now. I feel there is an emptiness she has because she can not be as physically active as she used to be.   Thanks to everyone who has posted. I find this forum one of the best on the net. Thanks APA for the link, I will persue that further. I have another close friend who has chrones. He and his wife have faced this problem for many years. Although within their marriage it has been his illness that has put sex on hold I think it is easier for women to go without as we age than men, at least it's been my observation.   This has come up a few times by my wife who has had a full hysterctomy due to endomiterosis, developed type I diabetes 6 months after that operation and has asthma also. She turns 40 next week and has been battling health issues for over 6 years. She says her body feels like she's in her 70's. She is seeing various doctors for her ailments, but she has brought up the subject a few times over the past year, either telling me I should find someone else for sex or to divorce her and marry a healthy woman.   My wife has the same. If it is rather oderless other than a musky smell it is just mucus. Some women have a heavy mucus which is natural. It helps lube things up.

  I appreciate all the advice. Cobalt and Lindi, I think you both have some good advice. I got her a membership to the gym. She had always gone before we had kids. She went to her new internal med doctor today. The Doc flip flopped her diabetes meds and I already see an improvment in her level of ambition. She is not as tired as she usually gets. She did not get to talk about hormone replacement but her OBGYN does not know about her diabetes so she is going to call her and talk to her before her next appointment in January. I'm just going to talk the low road and take it as it comes... literally.

  My wife had a full historectomy back in feburary as well as being diagnosed with type I diabetes two months ago. Sex before the historectomy sex was good but I have always had to initiate since after our first child 7 years ago. Since the historectomy she has no interest and since being diagnosed with diabetes she sleeps a lot and about the only time she is remotely interested to be intimate is in the afternoon when I'm either at work or all the kids are home and I'm tired of the wham bam thank you mam. I know hormones have a lot to do with it. If you read up on hormone thearpy the lastest finding say it causes cancer. Am I doomed to the five finger shuffle?
