  Yes, Eye of the Beholder would make sense. I'd certainly start off with something from Wicked or Vivid, and from there you can narrow it down if you're insistent on something with Asian girls. Some specific recommendations would be . . . The Awakening (Vivid, with Inari Vachs and Kobe Tai); Red Dragon (Wicked, with Stephanie Swift and Asia Carrera); Dream Quest (Wicked, with Jenna, Asia and numerous others).   Yes, I was also wondering about Adult DVD Pacific. Since Lasers Edge and FiveStar closed, I'm down to one US retailer (Adult Video Universe) and would like a back up. I do have an account with Adult DVD Empire but haven't used them for many years. I had to return at least 7 defective disks to them (not their fault) and got sick of incurring the cost.   Yes, Girls on Fire appeals to me as well. The first release was apparently dreadful so I avoided it completely. As far as the bugs go, I think John is referring to the watermarks VCX has (apparently) chosen to add to this line. With regards to the sources of these disks, I appreciate what you say about remastering not necessarily referring to film prints but I think it's a bit disingenuous to release a 'remastered' line taken from tape sources: the results are always going to be soft and lacking in detail.

  Yep, I'd echo several that have been mentioned already: Roommates is well acted, character driven, female-centric porn that is very suitable for couples. The same is true of V - The Hot One. Nothing to Hide is also well acted, humane and looks quite mainstream i.e. lots of outdoor photography and short, well-integrated 'action' sequences. A couple that haven't mean mentioned yet: Jenna Jameson is . . . The Masseuse, for many of the reasons indicated above. It's quite 'respectable', with good performances from the two leads, good production values and a mature approach (for porn, at least) to story-telling. Jenna's profile also contributes to this being a quintessential contemporary couples movie. I'd also suggest Bad Wives and The Awakenin...
