  I've been using Lazersedge for single titles, value under $13 and they have got through quickly. Customs are now opening ALL packages with movie or DVD on the customs slip. They did this without putting extra staff on and before Xmas they had up to a 45 day delay on packages in the customs system. They only started this in November I think and so old rules on which packs got by may be changed. If they open up boxes and see receipts with different values than on the customs slips you'll get hit with charges. I haven't heard if the seizures are up, but I'm sure they are as that gives them the justification for all the delays they are causing and avoids charges that they are just getting around free trade with non-tariff obstacles.   Takeo: No siezed stuff just gets held at customs doesn't even get into the mail system. It's the normal envelope that comes later, if they grabbed anything, that tells you what to do to appeal. My point is they have got you any way you turn. your guilty unless you go to court with a lawyer and have experts in literature and the arts to testify the item is artistic.   Takeo: ALL movies, mainstream and Porn are now being opened by customs, this increase in work is not showing any increase in staffing in that I asked customs about regular orders from USA and swaps at DVDtalk or switchhouse that hadn't arrived. The woman advised me there is about a 30 day backlog. I just got a card to go to the post office and pay my tax and handling fees on a package shipped on October 14 from Deep Discount DVD, which has already got a replacement pack on way as I reported it missing. So this effort by customs to ruin free trade is going to stop movies making it to Canada for Xmas. I've emailed my MP about this and he has asked customs to respond, just about the delay.   Planet Sex, thanks for that info, I'm using S-video and might need that change on some other disc but the problem now is the player reading "disc error". Before I had the firmware upgrade Toshiba early models had trouble with some movies but it didn't read the disc at all, giving a "insert disc" message. This is the first time I've had this message.

  Takeo, I just got my sampler from DVDEmpire as well and tried it on both my Toshiba's 2109 & 3109. I've even had firmware upgrades and haven't had a problem with any disc until this one. I know the box states all regions but the disc has PAL on it not NSTC, I'll email Empire see if they have had other complaints. Damn ruined my night, no love so have to watch war instead!
