  Hi all, I've been a member of this site for a few years now and this question has been bothering me the entire time. What in blazes is meant by the "Raincoat Factor" I see in many reviews? I usually see them in astroknight's reviews. Thanks for helping out with what is most likely a pretty simple answer.

  Hi All, As I was strolling through the electronics store a few days ago I noticed a KLH DVD player that was on sale for Appox. $35. I have a few TVs in my house that I certainly wouldn'd mind being able to watch movies on but here is my concern. My two other players (Toshiba and Xbox) both have had problems with some mainstream and Adult DVDs (mainly Private titles, and Capt Mongos Porno Playhouse if I remember correctly). Does anyone know if this KLH player will have the same problems. Or for that matter, does anyone know of a player that has had absolutely no problems ever? Thank you in advanced. PS I think the KLH model was a KD1220

  You may want to check out "The Dinner Party". There's a great nurse scene that has both the baby oil and Celeste. Not to mention the finale scene she's a part of.

  Perhaps I was misunderstood, I didn't buy the box because I needed a DVD player. I was going to buy it anyway and and extra $20 for a decent DVD player that was not named Toshiba was a good thing. But that's neither here nor there. One thing I would like to find out is if both disks have multiple regions on them. Can anyone provide this info. I think this might be the cause, though I can't do anything about it.

  Has anyone experienced problems with the Private life of... series? I just rented the Monique Covet and my player will not recognize the disk. The player is an MS Xbox. I bought it so I could get away from my crappy Toshiba (had nice long thread going on my problems with it). If anyone has any ideas on how I might get this thing to play I would appreciate it. I know that it is not the disk because I can play it on my computer. I just hate watching movies on computer screens. Thank you for your help. PS. I am very curious as to the difference in this disk as opposed to other Private DVDs. I also rented a Gaia series flic and it plays fine.

  I was wondering if anyone has had any problems playing adult DVDs on the MS Xbox. I was having lots of problems with Adult DVDs on my Toshiba (had a nice, long thread going on it) so I replaced it. Just wondering if there are any movies/studios that I should avoid. Thanx

  I was wondering if anybody out there has seen Gaia 4: Italian Legacy by Private? I found it on XrentDVD.com and it looks like a decent flic but I can't find anything on it in either the "Price Search" database nor the reviews area. Private has a reputation for making good DVDs and I wanted to know if this one was worth a look. Thank you for your thoughts.

  My player is a Toshiba SD-3109. It was produced in November of 1999. I also have updated to the latest greatest firmware, version 3.

  Well my stars and garters, For blanks and giggles I decided to try one more A&E DVD: Appassionata. Low and behold it played fine. I didn't even have to change the audio or anything. ImageKat, do you happen to know if there is anything different about this disk than others made by Adam and Eve?

  Love to, I would put the disk in, and the word "Play" would come up on the DVD display (perfectly normal thus far). Unfotunately that's all that would happen. The play indicator would never go away and nothing would show up on the TV. I could hear the disk spinning up inside the machine. This happened on "A Witch's Tail" and two others from Adam and Eve. I can't remember which two because they happened a long while ago. I just figured it was a fluke. As I mentioned before, this is the first problem I've encountered with the player be it porn or otherwise. One other thing, the display would indicate the section (chapter) it was trying to access. That's all I can think of for now, I will update if anything else comes to ...

  Hi everyone, I just wanted to say thank you for all the responses. I had no idea that Toshiba's had problems with so many titles. I've had mine for close to two years now, have watched hundreds of movies on it, and never had a problem minus the obvious (the reason I posted). Guess I'm just lucky. Anyway, I'll probably be looking to buy a new player around November so I'll just hold off on the A and E titles until then. But if anyone knows of any Toshiba tricks I'd certainly like to hear them in case I run into something like this again. Thanks again
