  Ha! I'm glad NEON didn't disappoint, Wanderer. I think the issue was that there is extended fisting footage in existence that supposedly goes beyond what's already there that Cecil didn't want on the disc. Seems difficult to imagine! But that is my understanding. Sorry for the confusion. Meanwhile, the reviews for BABYLON are starting to trickle in. And they're nice 'n positive. I've pasted them below for anyone wanting more detailed info about the disc. <link>

  Further releases are up in the air at the moment. We're trying to create some awareness for the current titles through reviews. But since review copies (of BABYLON) were sent out right before the holidays, we're still awaiting reviews. Hopefully they'll start coming in and get some positive word out there and generate sales. Word of mouth helps too!

  Sorry for the delayed reply but I wanted to make sure before I said anything. We've been a bit backed up here so NEON NIGHTS was a bit delayed. However, it came in today and should ship today and be available for purchase by the end of the week. It's another handsome edition with great extras and a stunning picture. I hope you'll find it more than worth the wait.

  In response to The Wanderer's question: The story behind the NEON NIGHTS fisting scene and Cecil Howard's official stance on it is as follows: The scene in question (which amounted to just a few seconds) occurred when, as Cecil Howard puts it, &quot;Jamie Gillis got a little carried away.&quot; Howard was never comfortable with the scene as he felt it was inappropriate and inconsistent with his tastes and vision, a stance which he maintains to this day. The scene did end up in a very early cut of the film (and possibly a couple of theatrical prints) which was submitted to West Coast theaters where it was rejected and returned. That was enough for Howard to snip the scene and never look back. So the NEON NIGHTS DVD will include an abbrevia...
