  I actually am glad that someone did speak up on this topic because ever since I returned the beginning of the year, I have been constantly saying that I feel like the industry has lost its' imagination. Also, a while back I was thinking about writing a blog post called "the pornstar is dead" since there is hardly a "star factor" anymore. I still don't even know who all the contract stars are and some companies stopped contracting all together. I don't think any one thing is responsible for the changes that the industry has gone through although certain influences, such as piracy and corporate consolidation (which had been mentioned) have had a greater impact than others. Money is a huge factor, as it always tends to be....
