  This conversion is pretty simple. You can install VLC Player to decrypt and Handbrake to create the mp4/mkv files. I use just the gerneal settings to create an mp4 file that is h.264. If you want to buy a product, you should consider AnyDVD by Slysoft, but generally porn does not encryption or it used to be wide open. So I create mp4 files using Handbrake, store them on a Netgear ReadyNAS Ultra6 and stream them around the house using a PS3 or PLEX on my PC. In another idea, you can create ISO files of the DVD and store them because he ISO will be a copy of the DVD, titles, etc. You would need something like Daemon Tools to play them. I find the mp4's are small with good picture quality. My 2 cents.
