For these models especially ethnicity can be a selling point. There aren't many South Asian models in this industry and if she can pass as one that can be a selling point. I bet these sorts of considerations factor more into what it is being said about her ethnicity than her genuine ethnic background, so I think you gotta take whatever is being said with a grain of salt.

NVG/CCHD has the model getting tricked into doing porn as the on camera (and fake) premise. It's basically a whole genre in amateur porn: fake tricking models into doing porn when they thought it was something else. This isn't to say that these type of sites aren't doing anything shady... probably most are in some way... but none of them can get away with doing what they claim to be doing on camera.
