  I thought Swedish Erotica in the 70s was more like a brand name for American loops with the likes of Seka and John Holmes. Although I am sure there has been some classic Swedish porn made - but Denmark's Color Climax must have been a much bigger porn producer in the old days. (Private, for example, got into the video business very late, and then they were out of Sweden.) On the other hand, the very best recent(ish) porn movies I have seen were made in Sweden (directed by a fellow called Mike Beck). There's a language barrier, though. The DVDs are usually in Swedish with subtitles only in Danish and Finnish.

  The Finnish girls Walter Burns mentioned, Sabina and Emilia, have <link> in Finland these days. The site is in English and worth a look. <link> (or Rachel Flame as she is presented on the ELS Production site) has a high visibility in the local media, owing much of it to cable TV (and a crossover artist/porn star image) but probably less so internationally. A nice person, as far as I can tell.

  What about Hustler? I have seen Barely Legal 7 and Barely Legal on Vacation, and both are excellent in terms of video quality, in my opinion better than what I have seen from Private, Evil Angel or anyone else save mainstream companies. They also have an interesting way of organizing the chapter menus. Not many extras on the discs, though. Although the reviews I have seen in places like the Adult DVD Empire site (there are seem to suggest that the Hustler video quality isn't always consistent. Probably will have to investigate further into this matter. Also, my experiences seem to run so much counter to the general consensus that I do not trust anything but my own observations any more. (I haven't found Private discs to be all that great,...

  Since they seem to have started this naming trend in 1996 with Francesca Le, the only thing that could be seen as a personal attack is the inclusion of Tricia in the list of CSW:s. At least she is in good company. <link> Legend has the &quot;X aka Filthy Whore&quot; compilation series, which falls short in terms of creative offensiveness. What would be the most offensive and degrading title ever used in porn?   I watched <link> just a while ago. I like it, but if you * are in a hurry (the scenes are long and slow) * dislike Ed Powers being involved * want to hear the women growl and generally make lots of noise (which, in porn, spells passion) this DVD is not for you. On the other hand, the three scenes feature 5 attractive and natural girls experimenting with lesbian sex. In the middle 3-way scene with Andrea Spinks (Nadia), Jassie and Skye, the girls make frequent side comments and are liable to burst into fits of giggling while trying to manoeuver with a strap-on.   I always end up wavering between INFP and INTP in these tests. (Although doing the test - with a slightly different set of questions - in my native language tipped the scales more clearly to INFP - Healer.) Kind of surprising to find out who turn out to be the Healers - I would never have guessed that about Planet Sex or Ultradamno. On the other hand, this is probably more a parlor game than a reliable personality analysis. (The concept of personality types was originally dreamed up by Jung, the old mystic.)   Apparently Silvia Saint was booked for the <link> erotic fair that was held in Helsinki, Finland, last weekend, but cancelled at the last moment for reasons unknown. I find the booking somewhat odd, given her married and retired status, unless the organizers fooed up. In previous years the main stars - Ginger Lynn, Midori, Jill Kelly etc. - have usually showed up so I don't believe the people organizing these things are entirely incompetent.

  Here is what I can think of: Michael Ninn's Diva Girls has some solo scenes like that - Anna Malle, Jeanna Fine, Shayla La Veaux and some others talk to the viewer. However, as I recall, these scenes are in the minority. In many cases the only sound is the newageish music. There's one fairly good DVD extra scene with Kylie Ireland on Antonio Passolini's &quot;Raw&quot;, also from VCA. Maybe other recent VCA titles have more &quot;extra&quot; scenes like this, but I haven't bought any of them. (Anyway, it would be a waste to buy a DVD just for one or two short scenes.)   No, I haven't posted more reviews. I also have volumes 1 and 4 of Liquid Gold - I think #1 is my favorite. There seems to be a widespread consensus against the pee thing among reviewers and people who voice their opinions in places like RAME. Almost every review I have read of the Barely Legal series stops to mention how much the reviewer hates the peeing in the scenes - personally I think there is a hint of innocence in them, and like them if they add to the intimacy of the scene (not always the case). Voyager on RAME seems to like them though...

  The Liquid Gold DVDs have good content but the picture is fairly [ invalid url ]. Solitaire from the same company is much better but has only one pee scene. See the review screenshots thread. There are apparently 16 Liquid Gold titles on video, as well as other videos on this theme (see the Private Performance site www.watchme-play.com for info). I wish they would release some of them in the Solitaire quality. Then there is also <link> , who sell videos and DVDs of their photoshoots.
