  Why doesn't someone shut down LA Direct since they are operating illegally as well as breaking other laws involving their commissions and fees. LA Direct nor Derek Hay is registered with the State of California as a talent agency. Under CA law, a talent agent can only take a maximum of 10% commission from its client (the talent) of the booking fee. LA Direct is taking 15% from its talent and charging a $100 "agency fee" on top of that. That double dipping is quite unethical.
