I do not think that it is the flash drive that contains the 4K file but rather the Samsung TV, the BestBuy generic model as well as the BlueRay player do not have the ability to process the encode that is used with a 4K file. It is just not a format that these devices are familiar with which leads me to believe that only a 4K set will recognize a 4K file.
