In response to the ongoing debate about rough porn influencing people's actual behavior i.e. you watch rough porn, you beat your girlfriend or rape a stranger. Fact: German S/M porn is and has always been far more violent than anything you'll ever see produced in America. Fact: The number of reported incidents of violent sexual crime in Germany is far lower per capita than in America. Fact: The number of reported incidents for spousal abuse is far lower per capita than in America. My point is obvious. If there was a correlation between what people watch and how they actually treat each other, it would show up in the numbers. It doesn't . . . because there isn't.
