Basically is it legal for a private individual to import late 1970's and 1980's and early 1990's titles into Australia? It's all to do with this stupid situation we have in Australia where Australian porn retailers (online) will not stock any title that was previously available on video format, before dvd was phased in. You can get a few old titles (like Debbie Does Dallas), but you have to look very hard to find them. Is it because the Australian porn laws were tightened unneccessarily, around 2000(?)and they would have to go before a censor again and be classified all over again, under the new cencorship guidelines (no violence, or deviant stuff).
