  I used to know someone that worked for Canadian Customs but has since immigrated to Europe. If Canadian Customs (actually, they are called the CCRA) inspects a video from the mail and considers it obscene, your name and address goes into their computer. It doesn't take much for them to consider your videos obscene, for example, if it has a2m, or if the inspector is just having a bad day. They know you won't challenge the confiscation. There are 2 stages when you return from a foreign trip.   The Slap Happy series is my all-time favorite. I recently purchased the first 3 volumes on DVD (they were difficult to find), and I am hoping they will release the rest soon. I have seen Throat Gaggers 1 and 2, and the intensity is nowhere close to Slap Happy. The Service Animals series carry this theme a bit, but it is much more uneven.

  As to the previous discussions about concert DVDs, by far the best I have is "Springsteen Live in NY". The original was shot in high-definition and down down-converted to DVD. The picture quality and audio quality are both very good (but unfortunately only Dolby Digital 5.1), and the camerawork is outstanding.

  If you have a high-definition TV or projector, anamorpic DVDs makes a big improvement in terms of picture quality. Almost all Hollywood DVDs are now anamorphic. Another difference I find with non-anamorphic DVDs is that I have to manually readjust my projector in order to play it properly. In my case, the picture shrinks from a 123" wide screen to about 90" - it looks really strange to have a movie in the middle of a screen that is masked for a bigger picture. Unfortunately, adult videos are still shot in the 4x3 TV format. Until they change to the wide-screen 1:85 format, anamorphic is just a pipedream.

  I just found out that LasersEdge will NOT ship to an alternate address in Canada, only to the credit card billing address. Furthermore, they will ship to the credit card address only after receiving a FAX of your recent credit card statement. Quoting from their EMail: "we will not be able to ship this order to the address you requested. I can only ship to the credit card's billing address and then only after I receive a more up-to-date statement." This makes LasersEdge pretty much useless for Canadians. Why would anyone in their right mind have X-Rated DVDs shipped under their own name to their own address - you will end up on the customs list, and they will watch for you the next time you come back from a foreign trip.

  This series is one of my favorites. I just saw #9 on VHS (not out yet on DVD), and there is a scene with Bisexual Britni and a really cute blonde. The blonde is throat fucked until she pukes, and she turns around where Britni is and it all goes into her mouth. Then they reverse roles. Not every scene is good, but every titles has at least one good scene. In SA7, the blonde on the cover with the black and white top (Paris), she is in a really hot extended scene.

  Getting a reply from them - you have got to be kidding. I have EMailed them 5 times in the last 2 months about an order that they have promised to reship to me, and not a single reply.

  There's more to it. GBA1 DVD is censored. All of the slapping has been edited out. All of the spitting edited out. Most of the rimming edited out. I send mine back and got a refund.

  I am just getting back into buying DVDs after being away from this for a while. It was a disappointment dealing with the once reliable AdultDVDNow, but I guess things change. I have a question directed to Canadians: Which American vendors have you successfully ordered from RECENTLY? Suggestions have been made for XRentDVD or ADE, I would be interested in your actual experiences. Thanks in advance.

  dv-depot seems strange: they import DVDs from American suppliers into Canada, then they send it back to American customers. So they have to clear customs twice, and pay shipping charges twice.

  The problem with buying from Canadian suppliers is that you may end up with an edited (Canadian) version. Just think of the stuff you rent in Canada, and how the best parts are edited out. Why would it be any different just because it's on DVD? As for dv-depot, their prices look very high to me, and notice that most of the titles are not in stock. I rather take my chances with customs and buy from American vendors. I have yet to lose a single DVD.

  There was a clip of Black Dicks in White Chicks posted in one of the newsgroups, and I really like what I saw (especially Brandy Starz's deep throating). I am going to try one of their DVDs. These days, I find that with so many titles out there, that I rarely buy a DVD unless I had seen a clip of it first.

  Same thing with me. According to their web site, my order was shipped on April 9th. I EMailed them 5 days ago, then again yesterday, to find out the status. No reply. I am surprised by this. They charge a premium for both the DVDs and the shipping, and I expected better service.
