  Mason is by far the best director today. I think she really takes the time to cast performers who have a connection with one another instead of just throwing performers together who aren't going to have any chemistry. That's why she doesn't have to sacrifice her material with pointless nonsense & can simply shoot really hardcore hot sex. She's the best around. I also like Toni English, who directs for the couple's genre. She captures her scenes beautifully such as the Chasey Lain-Rocco Siffredi scene in CHASEY LOVES ROCCO, among others.

  If I remember correctly, TEEN DREAMS #5 had the 24P camera look. It's unique & I like it in certain scenes. A lot of scenes from New Sensations look like that but not all of them. Jonni Darkko is a fairly diverse director & not all of his scenes look that way either. Also, Tyrone Shuz shot some of the scenes in TD #5. If you're looking for something similar that you and your girlfriend can enjoy together, I would suggest the beautifully shot scene in DOUBLE TEAMED #1 with Nadia Styles, Ben English & Marco Duato. That was directed by Axel Braun. And the Ashley More-Julian scene in GOOD GIRLS DOING BAD THINGS #2. Enjoy.

  Ray Victory is probably the one performer I would most like to see make a comeback. In a decade of often mediocore and emotionless porn, he really stood out as someone who truely enjoyed his work. His build and beautiful brown skin were perfect & the facial expressions he made in his scenes were really sexy.   Your comment about there being a lack of imagination in porn is right on target. However, to single out Zero Tolerance is unfair considering that the sex in their movies is almost tame compared with their equally successful competition. Also, I've seen a number of their titles and I think what makes them stand out the most is Mike Quasar's incredible camera skills. From the stand point of camera techniques I think their movies really are creative and different from the majority of the endless close-up angles you usually see in porn.   What you're saying can not be mentioned enough and I hope eventually people in the industry will start to listen. The fact is that the majority of camera techniques in adult films are beyond bad to begin with. Then when you have the added habit of shooting all of the material so close just for the sake of eliminating an element from the scene (namely the male performer) it takes away nearly all erotic realism and, for me as a viewer, enjoyment from the movie. I know there are many viewers out there who want to see cooler wide shots in movies but it seems that the industry itself in America has become so over saturated that the general rule is for each company and director to be the same and not appeal to a diverse audience.   Please do NOT get rid of the side angles. In fact, add more of them! Side angles, shots from above and wider shots (all mentioned above) are seriously lacking in quantity. For directors who do include them in their work, it gives the viewer such a better perception of the action to show the intercourse and facial reactions in one awesome shot instead of choosing a close-up of one or the other.

  For me, male ejaculation (when watching movies or in real time sex) is more about the guy's pleasure. It's his moment so I'm pretty cool with where ever he wants to put it. Feet are off limits but anyplace else is pretty much ok with me. If he's eaten the proper foods before sex I will swallow but only if it's with someone special to me (i.e. a close friend or boyfriend). Facials are not a turn off for me.   Thanks, Renee, for the festival information. While it's true that the film did receive bad reviews in France you have to take into account that there is a huge audience base of independent and off beat film lovers out there that most mainstream critics and reviewers have not tapped into. That's why independent films are more popular in larger cities. I rarely trust mainstream film critics because, not only do I feel they often contradict themselves in their reviews, but also their personal taste is probably not going to match mine. I look forward to seeing this film. I really enjoyed Rocco's mainstream work in ROMANCE.
