  I would say porn is suffering from finiancial issues. since a lot of porn is availible on internet and OF has became huge hit, porn companies are struggling to keep there numbers correct. Just look at brazzers people who used to work for brazzers for 2009 to 2013 have long gone. Creative heads are being hired because they are affordable and not because they have ideas. slowly they introduced the idea of "Best of" criteria just to save money of one porn video. Recently NA also Started releasing old scenes as remastered plus re-releasing as new. It has multiple causes but one big reason would say companies had much more profitability on CDs sales than membership model.
