- skateboard sliders -- bad DVD, good video 9/12/2000 4:41 PM I just recently purchased "SkateBoard Sliders" DVD from DVD Empire and I am deeply disappointed. To be honest this is an excellent video, however the transfer to DVD is a total failure. The video quality is just the same as a VHS video tape, the DVD menu is terribly slow and bad, and there's no special features whatsoever. The worst thing about the DVD is the picture quality. In my view point it's even worse than a VHS tape. I don't know how this DVD got such good review. I believe the reviewer only watched the VHS tape only. So if you are looking for DVD quality video, then stay away from 'Skateboard Sliders'. Rent the video instead. You might get a better picture quality.
