  I guess I'm different from most of the guys posting on this topic.   I think notion of DVD's, Bluray Discs being phased out anytime soon is absurd. I think in the future there will just be two available formats. Just like you have hardcover, and soft cover for books. Think about it, if anything would be phased out, CD's would be the first thing phased out yet New CD's even Cd's of old previously released stuff are still being made, becasue there are still a sizable segment of the population who like to have a physical product as opposed to just a digitial download.
