- Country Comfort (1981) - scene missing? 12/2/2015 12:04:46 AM Yeah, I've noticed this sort of thing quite a lot, where the transfer of older movies onto first VHS then DVD was very poorly done, with scenes going missing or at least being chopped down. You'd have thought that by now the companies would have learned by the mainstream industry's example, and cottoned on to the potential higher sales of releasing the full intact versions of these films.
- Country Comfort (1981) - scene missing? 11/24/2015 11:57:56 PM I first saw this movie back in the early 80s, in the butchered soft version which was all that was legally available in the UK back then. I remember that in the film I saw there was a scene with Randy West prior to the credits, where he meets a girl sitting in a tree, has sex, then falls asleep and she runs off with his clothes and horse. When I finally got to see the full XXX version, this scene wasn't there. The movie starts with the credits and goes straight into the scene in the barn with Rhonda Jo Petty. Can anyone confirm if I'm right about the earlier scene, and if so, what happened to it?
