- is this the end for JKP? 8/14/2005 12:45 PM I didn't get the part about AVN holding the bag? I have been wondering about AVN though lately. It seems AVN has turned into a giant ad magazine. There seem to be more and more ads every month and less and less stories and news. One of my descions to buy stock in JKP was the AVN ads. They had like 3-4 pages of ads every month in the AVN and everything seemed ok and they were doing great. Perhaps AVN should have been reporting the "news" about JKP and other studios instead of just taking money for full page ads from them. But then again I guess you can't bite the hand that feeds you. Oh well what can you do.
- is this the end for JKP? 7/17/2005 3:32 PM What does all this mean for the JKXJ stock? I like the idea of IVD taking over and fixing things if they can. If they have 15 million shares they would have an interest to see the company succeed and the stock to rise.
- is this the end for JKP? 7/3/2005 1:36 PM I bought JKP stock basically because of the name. Jill Kelly is a very well known name and I have been a fan since I was younger. I didn't know who this Freidland guy was or what he was up to. All I knew is that they put out some good ads every month in the AVN, had some great contract girls and made some decent product. I was selling JKP DVDs and while they weren't flying off the shelf they were selling pretty good so I thought why not buy some stock in the company. This was right around the time of the Bizarre/JKP merger and I thought that was a good thing for the company. Boy was I wrong. I am not sure how all that stock stuff works but I am very interested to see what Jill Kelly does now. I wouldn't think she could use that name aga...
- is this the end for JKP? 7/2/2005 1:32 PM Can Jill Kelly just start another company? I would think because stock was involved she couldn't? I mean wouldn't that open the door to everyone who owns a company to just run it into the ground, screw the stockholders over and just start over?
- is this the end for JKP? 6/9/2005 7:14 PM Would they be allowed to sell the catalog of movies and then just close shop and just let the stock fall to .00? jamesboston wrote: there's tons of stuff filed on EDGAR, it may not be from 2-hours ago but it says enough. i'd expect them to sell their catalog by the end of the year at the latest, probably sometime in the next month or two, were i a betting-man. don't even waste your time thinking about their stock, it wasn't ever a company with shareholders and daily-trading, it's owned by the people who started it. i'm just waiting for the nasty stuff, i'm pretty positive people aren't going to lose the same percentage of what they put in. cloudy, 70% chance of lawsuits, cooling in the evening with three-dozen pages of accusations on lukeis...
- is this the end for JKP? 6/8/2005 8:18 PM I came to this forum to find some recent info about JKP and it doesn't look good from what I have read. JKP stock (JKXJ) is at an all time low of .10 a share for the past week now. <link> I have tried to call and to talk to someone about the stock and the future of this company but it is very difficult as they are always in meetings. I have been able to speak to a Mr. Dan Ice who they say is in charge but he always transfers me to salesman by the name of Mr. Mike Barbela who is the most unpleasant man I have ever had the privilege of speaking to. Mr. Barbela actually went as far as to laugh at me because I was calling this past week with my concerns about the stock and losing money. He basically told me if I didn't want to buy any DV...
