  Finally my order shipped. I highly doubt anyone cares, but I figure after giving them a hard time on here, I should at least give them credit when they completed my order. I don't know if Empire Man had anything to do with getting my order unarchived, but that happened within hours of my last post. If you did, thanks! Mostly due to the rude customer service responses I won't be shopping with them again, and hopefully others will at least be aware that paying by check is more of a hassle than they currently outline on their site. I certainly learned my lesson...

  Empire Man was kind enough to look into my order for me, and gave me an explianation of why my DVDs aren't being held. Apparently, they keep orders archived and don't hold DVDs until checks clear, although that is NOT stated anywhere in the check policy on the web site. Apparently my check hasn't "cleared" yet, although my checking account was charged for the order 2 weeks ago, and my check was received 3 weeks ago. On the web site they claim it takes 7-10 business days for a check to clear. Either it's not true that they unarchive orders and start holding DVDs ofter the check clears, or it's not true that it takes 7-10 business days for checks to clear.   Can anyone recommend a good Flame DVD? Most of the stuff I've seen with here is lesbian scenes, which is beginning to get old. It seems that her guy/girl scenes are only available on VHS, which I won't buy. I suppose she's the only one I'd make an exception for, if I had to...

  Thanks, I'll consider that. I have avoided getting one so far because I would forget to write in a charge at some point, but for this limited use it may be worth it. Not all of these problems would be solved by that, however. I knew about the policy and accepted it, so my real complaints are not really check exclusive, although that did exacerbate the problem.

  Just a warning for those out there who are in a situation similar to me. I need to buy DVDs with a check or Money Order, because my wife pays the credit card bills. As long as she doesn't see it and I don't spend too much money, she doesn't care. This was my first online purchase for that reason. I've bought around 50 discs in stores, but the selection and price are lacking there. Anyway, AdultDVDEmpire is one of the few retailers to allow you to buy DVDs online without a credit card. They have a somewhat restrictive policy, but that's ok, I'm not complaining about the policy. Basically, the policy says that they won't ship anything until the check clears, once you make an order there are no changes, and the order is sent as one shipment....
