  Wow, are you pickin' on the wrong guy, GMfan... An auspicious debut to your tenure here at ADT. Hardware's post was not meant in the way you apparently took it. I know because I know hardware--a ten year veteren of the board who I've met in person, who's put in his time as a moderator in the past, and is by all rights one of the most respected people at ADT both by its members and owners. All I'm sayin' is--chill. Hardware was just trying to answer the question you raised (a question, by the way, that's been discussed about a billion times over the years). He wasn't attacking you.   Porn isn't dying. It'll always exist in one form or another. Whether it can remain viable in its current form is a bit of a question. I'm always willing to pay a fair price for my porn. That said, though, I have a HELL of a time finding enough of what I actually like to justify spending very much money on it.   This is my guess as to what's happening... XrentDVD has a standing sale on new releases. Every new release is 15% off. That is the difference between the 24.99 and the $21.24. I don't rememeber how long that sale lasts, but it goes by the day of release (or the day of the disc's arrival at Xrent) of that title. So my guess is that for some reason ADT isn't recieving updated price information for some titles when they are no longer part of the 15% off new releases sale. Xrent also has other special sales on occasion--for specific studios, or genres, etc. Mind you, I don't know what has to be done to fix it, but the new release discount is a peculiarity with Xrent, that I might add, is a good thing for Xrent customers.   You know while we're on the subject... Another stupid thing about the PS3 is that the remote control for it is bluetooth. ::groan:: I've read reviews that it's a decent Blu-Ray player, but this is freakin' stupid. If I can't put the PS3 on my Pronto universal remote control I'm sure as hell not going to use it as a primary HD player for my main system. That said, Bill's right. Although it's certainly nice to hear from insiders who liked your review, it's very important to me not to be in any way influenced by those comments. As a reviewer, the first and most important duty is to being honest, not to pleasing the producers. I much prefer getting email from fans who enjoy my reviews than industry insiders. I've had, eh, maybe two insiders that got quite testy with individual reviews that I've written, or things I've had to say about their work.
