  I'm on there. I swore to myself I wouldn't get hooked in, but I suppose I am now. I visit it about twice a day, mostly, to check for messages and such. I have so many fan pages of stuff that I like it's actually I pretty good way to keep up with CD and DVD releases, comic books, events and other bits all in one place.

  Currently reading Belinda Carlisle's autobiography. I really, really hate it when girls used the word "cute" to describe everything. Aside from "cocaine" I think it's the most overused word in the entire book.

  I spent nearly the whole summer of 1988 naked, or as much as possible during that year's crippling heat wave, and only in my apartment which lucky was the only one on my college campus that was a second story unit so nobody could really look straight in and see anything. But I didn't hear one guy at my front screen door until I saw him standing there, quietly smiling, while I sat starkers in the living room chair reading a newspaper. I kinda wrapped the newspaper around me and side-stepped out of the room to go find some clothes before I went back to the door to let him in. But hell, I guess it was too late being modest by that time.

  I'm still reading Where Dead Voices Gather by Nick Tosches, which has a little blurb on the back from our own Skronker himself. It's taken awhile because I leave it on my desk at work to read during my lunch breaks.

  Thanks, everyone! Actually it was a bit of a surprise yesterday, even though we had been discussing it frequently since November. Yesterday was one of our few days off together so we went down to the court house to pick up a marriage license, and the clerk told us that we could get married today if we wanted. I had some birthday money on me so we ran down to the justice of the peace (next building over -- he was leaving for the in 20 minutes) and we had a quick ceremony in his office with me standing under a giant framed picture of Barney Fife, which I wasn't aware of and had my husband snickering during the whole proceedings.
