  I've posted before, but has anyone mentioned sites that charge for downloads? It's Infuriating to me! From a business stand point I get it and it makes fiscal sense... but the implementation is usually stupid (ie. treated as two memberships re-billing for the same site/ or when a site drops downloads and keeps streaming only price the same while tacking on the extra for DL) lets just call it for what it is, A price increase I just think the people who actually pay for their porn should at least be allowed the same capabilities as people who are obtaining their porn by "less than legal" methods or tube sites without being repeatedly being squeezed for more while being provided less.   I was listening to NPR today while driving, I'm not exactly sure what program was being broadcast at the time but the reporter was talking to an epidemiologist who suggested that countries should look to the "adult Industry" as a good model for implementing testing. Once a reliable Antibody test is established and mass produced, you test the population and those who test positive for antibodies can get certified to carry on working. He then went on to explain why we aren't already doing that (uncertainty around tests, antibodies, long term effects, and ramifications of people who will infect themselves intentionally) Ill have to try and find the interview, but it just struck me that funny that those in porn are now being regarded as lead...

  ^ Ha, another reason for you all to be advocating for the government to ramp up testing and invest in research to find better and faster tests. Sure it'll help the experts gather more data that can help stem the tide of infection and provide more insight on reopening the economy. You'll also be helping everyone in porn get back to work. I'd gladly help out with the costs of testing for any of those performers who have proven responsible during this whole ordeal. that's if they are even wanting to jump through all those hoops.   Regarding the Porn industry, I think the same will happen to many companies as will happen in any other U.S. business sector in the coming months. Long story made short... the little guy looses. Bigger, more resilient companies survive with less competition afterward. Larger companies may provide more stability, but they are also more apt to take advantage of their power and influence. It is the nature of capitalism. Many U.S. based companies (who ironically are not even technically based in U.S. to avoid taxes) we let get so big over the past few decades that we can't even afford to let them fail.   Sorry, I also have been a bit off topic. That being said, to make up for it I have a question for those in the industry. I would appreciate any feedback and info on how we can support pornstars who undoubtedly will suffer the brunt of the effects from this. I know OF is an option but I can't help but think support through OF alone will eventually hurt big production companies. I want to support my favorite stars but I also would hate to loose the quality of larger productions. I'm torn! what can we do?

  ^you can't blame the media for how people are responding. How people react is on them. Nobody is saying "end of days." I challenge you to give me an example of one reputable source which is saying this. To the contrary, most media and experts I've heard are saying "we'll get through this!" They're also just saying to social distance (which really should be physical distancing) I mean, were socializing plenty right here. As for the repercussions of closures and economic hits to the private sector, there will be a time and a place to debate our lack of preparedness, play the blame game and cry about inconveniences later. Until then just stay home and try not to infect anyone.
