  I'm curious to see more responses to this topic, because I think you guys are in the minority on this one... When it comes to gonzo, low angle is king for good reason. The very best selling gonzo makes heavy use of this technique because of how it profoundly exaggerates the perceived size of the girls asses. It showcases more detail in the penetration and genitals, and less on the faces. Level shooting yields a more natural, amateur looking style. It works for amateur porn, and perhaps leaves more to the imagination regarding the hardcore elements. To each their own, but I wonder about the true consensus of this artistic choice once the viewer really understands the difference.

  As a fan turned director, I promise you the majority are no more picky than regular vanilla girls. If anything, they are less so because finding a man accepting of her day job will narrow her dating options. Not to mention the intimidation factor of probably earning more money than him.   Porn, like all other forms of entertainment media, is driven by 2 main forces; business, and creative. In todays industry reality, niche' content is rewarded...and will eventually be required as the volume of product increases. The emphasis on gimmicks is because studios & directors need their product stand out amidst a vast sea of competing content. It used to be enough to show 2 average people, having average sex.
