- Need advice for legal detail 2/12/2005 8:15 AM I'm a producer situated in Europe and want to manufacture a video DVD which shall be distributed in the U.S. by a local distributor. It's mainly softcore stuff, but explicit enough to be 2257-related. Can anybody give me an advice, which requirements have to be complied (besides the video clips themselves) to make the distribution of this DVD legal in the U.S.? I've heard about a 2257-disclaimer, which must be placed on the packaging and on the DVD, before the menu, not-skippable for a time a normal reader needs to read the text. Is that right and complete? Anything else which is necessary? Any advice is greatly welcome! I don't want to pay for the manufacturing of the DVDs and then notice that I have forgotten a little detail... Martin...
