  I'm wondering how much money porn directors actually make per scene? I've heard some wild ranges anywhere from $150 to $1000 per scene. Does anybody have any first hand information on this? Do they make a flat fee only, flat fee + % of sales, only % of sales? Is financing for the shoot usually provided by the production company (PXP, EA etc..) or would a director have to upfront the money from their own pockets, then deliver finished scenes to the distributor?

  With RLD & ZT stopping their licensing through Adult Legal we think a good step was taken towards stopping people exploiting the DVD industry by ripping their DVDs and letting surfers download the movies in high quality versions for money. Still the illegal content theft is still alive: We still see a lot of movies popping up on Internet sites especially regarding PXP and Jules Jordan movies which are pretty easy to ID just from screenshots. The question is: Do all these studios and producers not care their content is being stolen? How are they policing it? What do people around here (and people from these studios owning the content) think about establishing a forum where offenders & URLs can get posted so studios can take action? If a ...

  I just watched "7 the hard way" from RLD and - yes its like 1.5 years old but still a decent effort. I believe Brandon Irons shot this in Europe and this leads to the thing that kinda bothers me: Shooting in Europe seems to bring special problems for US outfits like RLD. Language barriers, cultural differences and then some of these girls seem to be a little inexperienced. In this particular movie Vanessa Virgin never really managed to swallow those 7 loads, sometimes it looked like she wished she threw up. You can hear Brandon Irons and some Hungarian translator in the off trying to tell her what to do but she just gazed into the camera like if she was on tranquilizers.
