  I think onlyfans has peaked. It's too big and it got too much mainstream attention and scrutiny. I really prefer their smaller but less restrictive competitors like fans.ly and justfor.fans.

  I've seen porn sites starting to accept crypto. I've still seen some of the same sites nonetheless pressured to remove content by CC processors. Epoch seems to be the worst right now, but others may follow suit. Hopefully not, and hopefully crypto gains more adoption to make this a moot point.

  Yes, and going strong. I download a ton of porn, and I organize and save everything that fits my collection. Moving over to 18 Tb drives. I just bought nine of them so that I can stay backed up in triplicate. Thinking of what to do with my older collection of 4-8 Tb drives totaling over 100 Tb. I could keep them as additional backups, or mine a storage coin. None are good investments in my opinion, but since I already have the storage capacity, they would be a way to recover some cost.

  OnlyFans isn't great if you just sign up and take what's there. The appeal for me has always been in having a direct line of communication with models, ordering customs, and sometimes items from the custom videos.

  ^^ Did some research for you. That looks like Helly from the original fetishbunker.com site that closed in 2013. There was a second site at that domain starting in 2016, which is now also gone and redirecting, and that might have thrown off your search.

  ^^^ Draxxx summed it up pretty well for hardcore. What I mean by extreme is content that pushes the limits of what is allowable in the industry. It could be rough sex with an element of male anger, in which case I am not really a fan of it. It could also be really hard BDSM scenes. Male anger doesn't come into play if you've got a really rough femdom scene with a male sub. What I've definitely noticed is more sites being more open with golden showers and pee drinking. I got the impression many sites were shying away from that after the mid-2000s obscenity trials, but some sites feature it pretty prominently nowadays.   ^ I agree with you too. Recently more niche sites have been testing the waters with more extreme content, and they seem to be getting away with it. I get the impression that there is more extreme porn out there than a decade ago, you just don't come across it unless you look for it because there is such a massive sea of porn in general today. In all fairness, the trend mentioned by Chenzen94 does apply to Brazzers and Naughty America, just as he says.

  Effects on could be directly felt by models who run their own sites and also escort or work as a dominatrix through them. They could see their sites closed down if they don't narrow their focus just to porn. Effects could also be indirectly felt on smaller porn companies, who rely on Backpage.com and similar sites to find talent. As the talent pool becomes harder to access, production will inevitably go down.

  I'm often wishing it was the other way around. There are so many clip stores with enough content for a membership site, and it would be much more affordable if they would make all of the content available for a membership fee. I guess the same is true in reverse - if you run a clip store, there is a large cost barrier to building a paysite.

  ^^^ This is the first time I ever reached out to a hosting company in this situation, but amazingly they are willing to help. The server is sub-leased, and they are reaching out to the lease holder on my behalf. Hopefully this site will not be lost, but soon we will see.

  Many do get lost to time. I joined evsfetishfemdom.com last month, and the server went offline just 1 day afterwards. I got a hold of the webmaster, and the issue is that he has not been able to reach the owner for a long time. Hope everything is alright. The hosting is done by a separate company, and presumably they shut down the server for the same reason. I'm trying to buy the content, but right now no one can reach the owner.
