  It's the post office. It's the holidays. You can't blame the retailer for this. Sometimes you have to give it a little time longer than usual. More often than not, the package will show eventually. If they had a UPS/Fedex option, use it next time.

  Dion, I like your idea of "I Like It Rough." But make it really rough to get the publicity machine going, then pull the title (ala Anabolic's "Rough Sex".) You'll sell a lot of copies the first year, forever be enshrined in the anals of porn (no pun intended), and service a hungry marketplace all at the same time!

  I've tried an all you can rent website, first the selection is lacking, but those titles they do have they must only have 1 copy of. I can never get what I want, and this is for titles that they had for many months. The problem is that they don't say what they do or don't have in stock. I'm sure that's because if they did, everything is out of stock. At least with xrentdvd, they show everything up front. No bullshit, what you see is what you get. If it's out of stock, the site says so. Pricey? Perhaps at little on the surface. But factor in selection (never a week that I've seen where they didn't have 50 new titles), service (which is very good btw), ease of website use, and availability... I'll stick with xrentdvd . I'm just tired of sit...

  I wonder why this wasn't released on DVD at the same time? It sounds like this would be a perfect film on DVD. Or is this another 'buy the VHS and hope they buy the DVD later again later'????

  I've tried once. Took almost three weeks for them to even ship my order. Emails were not answered quickly if at all (didn't get a response til I sent in my 3rd try asking about status). They said one of the titles was backordered, holding the entire order. Unfortunately their site gives no stocking status at all, meaning they probably don't stock and order just in time. Empire stocks and tells you if they have it and is generally responsive. Stick with them, or try XRentDVD. After using them, I've become 'Jaded'.

  When you ship via priority mail, they send it out of a standard postal priority mail envelope, the type they give out free at any post office. You can't tell if it's DVDs inside or papers being filed by your wife saying she wants a divorce! That's another story. There would be no reason why any post office employee would want to checkout the contents. I've got similar experiences with XRentdvd as everyone else The shipping time is nothing less than phenomenal. I too am curious if they are near a major postal distribution center which may account for their speed.   I too have had issues with Extreme titles. Not only is transfer bad, but on more than one title, the sound came out (or should I say didn't come out). Whack Attack #12 I ordered, returned, ordered, returned due to there being no left channel, only the right which plays obnoxious music. You can see them talk, just can't hear them. Too bad too... it was a nice Jenna Haze scene. Perhaps rather than pushing the content envelope, they should consider pushing their quality control.

  I travel a lot for work. The main branch is in Ohio. My territory though is Vegas & Arizona. Hence a lot of hotel stays. If you're ever in Ohio you know there isn't any anything to do. Just me and my portable DVD player. One reason why ship time is important (and offering Overnight Express mail). I guess I consider Ohio east coast? Maybe not eastern seaboard?

  I used to subscribe to one of those flat rate all you can rent per month (like Netflix). Apparently delivery time is really slow, to slow where I think that they might be holding disks for a few extra days. The end result, I wasn't getting all the disks per month that I should have gotten. Also for the most part the all you can rent places don't have the selection and they hardly bring any new stuff. And most of the disks are cheapo compilations, no Evil Angel, Anabolic, etc. And boy are they out of everything all the time. I've since used XrentDVD and have found that I can get disks in 3 days to the east coast! And customer service... emails are answered in hours, not days. Definitely not the cheapest service, but overall the best. FYI:...
