  You can order from companies that use courier service, but be aware that all those shipments have to pass customs and you will have to pay high customs duties addtional to the courier service fees. Sometimes you will get a bill from the courier service several month later. You can also order from adultdvdnow.

  Until now I had not read in the internet that shipments by a courier service had seizured by costums in germany. But I think you have only a 50/50 chance that a postal shipment with a regular customs declaration will pass customs. There are some other shops like Action-DVD (UPS), Lasersedge(DHL) and some more that will ship secure by courier service to Germany.

  Let's say you order DVDs for a value for 100$. (say 1$ = 1 Euro). Then you will have to pay: 18$ FEDEX shipping (prepaid to Fivestar) and the following costs to FEDEX: 19$ Zoll und Einfuhrumsatzsteuer for the DVDs(19% of 100$) 7$ "Administration Fee" for FEDEX 8$ taxes for the value of the FEDEX shipping (even if you've paid 18$, the regular price for FEDEX shipping from the USA to Germany is about 50$, so you will have to pay 16% tax of 50$). Sometimes it will take a long time until FEDEX calculates the taxes but you will get a invoice from them.   Many DVD-Players (I asked in a store) are able to play both, PAL and NTSC format. I've a DVD-player from THOMSON (DTH-4200) and one from PIONEER (DVD-350), they are both able to play PAL-DVD on PAL-TV, NTSC-DVD on NTSC-TV and NTSC-DVD on PAL-TV . The limitation is by the TV because they are not able to play PAL-DVD on NTSC-TV.

  UPS, DHL and FEDEX deliver porno materials in time (3-5 business days). They are also able to pass customs in most countries and are the preferred delivery method for adult material in a large range of countries. If you call them and ask a official question they will negotiate it but in practice they are very good in delivery. But be aware that you will have to pay a high price and high taxes for their service. You will have to calculate what's cheaper for you: courier delivery and high prices or the cheap US postal service delivery and the risk of seizurements by custom agents.

  Are the US-Versions of Metro DVDs really censored ? In the last months I've seen a lot of Metro DVDs in adult stores in Germany, but all of them are original US Versions (NTSC-Format). The european versions of Metro titles (VHS tapes with PAL format) distributed from the Netherlands and in Germany are wellknown for bad quality and have almost disappeared in many stores. Some other companies (Hustler, Devils Film, Vivid, Legend and some others) have European PAL-Versions of their DVDs, but their quality is definitely inferior in comparison with the original US-Version. I wouldn't recommend to buy European Versions of US titles.

  @marduk The roughest and most violent SM scenes which I know are in french porno movies. Some french directors even use forbidden signs in their movies and print these forbidden signs provocative on the covers. And some directors abuse their models in real hard SM scenes. In US porno movies I haven't seen any real violence until now, and all action is only played by the actresses. So I think you are under a misapprehension, it's not an US problem, it's just a french problem.
