Overtaking regular DP? In which world? DVP is the go-to route for non-anal performers if they want to perform something extra with "Double" in the name. Of those I have seen several (Sky Bri comes to mind first and foremost). Besides that, it is still niche, as is DAP (contrary to what Legalporno might want you to believe)

you mean the same movie as 1 disc or 2 disc? All the JJ DVD releases on 2 Disc (I know of) split the content up, usually to improve image quality, because you usually don’t put >3 hrs on one disc, otherwise it image quality is too low (doesn’t detract others from doing so). So you typically have scenes 1-3 on Disc 1 and 4-5 on Disc 2. In the time when the image format changed from 4:3 to 16:9, JJ DVDs often had all the 16:9 scenes on one disc and 4:3 scenes on the other, in order to avoid having to encode either the 4:3 scenes with bars on the sides or the 16:9 scenes with bars on top and bottom. If there are single and double disc editions of the same movie, then it’s probably a cost saving measure: Shrink it all down to one disk and...

^ probably not, or maybe only he Alex Coal scene. Three of these scenes were released in Covid times and all feature talent that regularly shoots in Prague/Budapest and was probably purchased from a producer there. There is a 4th scene, also released by the time with Lilu Moon ("Lilu Moon - Russian Superstar", Release Date 2020-07-03), which also fits that pattern. At least that’s my theory.

^ You can’t trust the infos on iafd regarding this. the two titles: "Role Play Lovers" is form Penthouse, and following the link to adultempire, it say’s its from 2015... (the fact that Carter Cruise, Jodi Taylor, both without new scenes for ages, seems to confirm this) "Naughty Weddings 3" from Naughty America, also only old scenes on a new DVD. These scenes are technically first-time on DVD, but that doesn’t mean that they are new. And the "2 Chicks Same Tiem 33434" from 2025, is also only a re-release (sometimes with improved image quality), which Naughty America tends to do. At least they’re upfront about it and call it a re-release. IAFD also mentions this is a re-release from "2 Chicks Same Time 16457, from 2013)

^ those have disappeared by the end of 2021 or so, to be replaced by lame-ass screenshots. The fact that it’s always 75 screenshots, taken at regular intervals, regardless whether it shows something important or not (or simply the back of someone leaving the scene) says it all: it’s all automated, and no picture sets are taken anymore... probably to save cost or time.

^ As I mentioned in the Vixen thread, where you posted the same thing, if your IP is from a location where newer "don't-show-hardcore-images-without-age-verification" legislation applies, you only get a sfw join page. Using a VPN to change your IP’s location does the trick. basically, all of the EU and UK are affected, don’t know about specific US states and counties, they might also be subject to this.

^ Nobody uses them because by law stores are required to round to the next 5 ct. Here in Germany, no such thing (yet), and still heaps of 1ct and 2ct exchanging hands in the store. ^ Interesting that she mentions the filler and being glad being rid of it. I just wonder what compels one to get filler in the first place. I remember in the latest "28 years later" movie, where the the soldier shows the boy a photograph of his girlfriend, also with filler, and the boy then asks if she’s ill, and he remembers a girl looking like this after some seafood allergy. Got a chuckle in the audience. What I wanted to say: not a fan of filler at all.
