  • Ninn's The Four 2/17/2012 6:56:47 PM
So far, no plans for new releases by Ninn. However, the entire Ninn catalog is now available again, which it was not for almost 3 years. Also, you can always check out the new www.michaelninn.com and iGirlPortal.com sites, for new video, stills and archives of Ninn's work. Bono-one, from your review I think I see the question . . . Plataea (Nikki Kane) is visited by the spirit of Leonidas as she returns to Sparta. What happens after that encounter should be explained the ending voice over. ;) More trivia: All of the Four warriors, (outside of Gorgo), are named for great battles in the history of Greece; Plataea, Salamis and Mycale. In the Alternate Reality Game that was created in 2008 to promote the movie, "Son of Leonidas" (pl...

There were a few questions for me and hopefully they might be answered in the lengthy Behind the Scenes movie which is a movie in itself clocking in at over 2 hours. This is most certainly an EPIC in every sense of the word. Depending on what the questions are, I may be able to answer some of them. bono-One

You're not the only one with a million questions phatbasey. LOL Unfortunately, at this point most of the answers are just going to make for a headache. Man, this release has taken so many twists and turns that just having an actual release date (January 2012) is more than most people ever though would happen. The movie is finally done, to Adam and Eve for their end of packaging, marketing and distribution. And hey, Cuddly Wombat - thankfully you can put away the leather undies for this year's Vegas show. This is only a rumor, but supposedly Ninn got all five former contract girls together and is in pre-production for a new movie next year. It is not a sequel to 'Four'. They have all been in touch with Ninn concerning the date of release,...
  • What's It Really Like Behind the Scenes 4/21/2011 10:30:59 PM
First rule of porn: If you don;t want to ruin the "fantasy", never go on a porn set. The typical porn set is the least sexy place you could ever be. LOL I'm not saying it can't be fun, and some scenes are really fucking hot, (Cassidey and Reno's outdoor, rain soaked fuck-ballet up by Rocky Peak for 'The Four' comes to mind. . . .) But for the most part, adult entertainment is a business and business needs to get done. What ends up in the final product comes together in post production. And I have to say I agree that most BTS is pretty damn boring. Who makes up those stupid questions they always seem to ask? I don't really need to hear for the umpteenth time what age the performer was when she lost her cherry. It's worse than the...

  • whatever happened to the announced buffy parody? 10/22/2010 3:49:32 PM
Good question. Whedon has a lot of licensing on BtVS, as did the different carriers and the Kuzui's. It wouldn't surprise me if it never gets made. There's tons of fan fic on the show, however. So technically, there's been "porn" centering on BtVS for ages.

  • whatever happened to the announced buffy parody? 7/16/2010 4:34:03 PM
While I agree with the Buffy, Dawn and Faith actress choices earlier in the thread, I can't agree on the choices for Willow, Cordelia or Drusilla. As a hardcore Buffy fan, I have been waiting for a good parody of the series with a take that is much closer to 'Batman XXX' or 'Sex Files: A Dark Parody' than "Muffy the Vampire Layer" did for the movie. The problem with the casting for this movie will be that without the right "look" from the get go, it will be much harder to give the impression that is is BtVS being portrayed. In all honesty, I think casting the MEN will be even harder. IMO - the one thing that will have to be decided by the director, is which season of Buffy are you parodying? If you stick to the core (B...
  • Agents/Agencies should really tell their girls... 1/6/2010 3:18:04 PM
I love my tats and I am a fan of ink in personal situations. . . . However, not for women or men in porn. It certainly limits the talents' potential onscreen choices. ALT will not be around forever, and it makes it very difficult for features and any "mainstream" work that might come along.
  • Tall woman? 12/8/2009 4:01:37 PM
Napoleon is doing more mainstream than adult now. Wouldn't it be kind of hard to tell just how tall a woman is on her back? If you can skip the hardcore and just want to check out a beautiful, T-A-L-L model, try searching for Tall Goddess. She did a lot with Andrew Blake, and she still pops up from time to time. • Porno Blogs from a paysite 8/24/2009 11:24:01 PM
Well, I have to agree with ninja on this one dseed. Unless you can put aside at least an hour a day to do updates (or at least three or four times a week), then the blog ends up being left on its own and empty. This is one reason why a lot of places have moved to twitter, because it's fast and easy to do an update. One thing that you don't want to do is make the blog just a mirror of your site updates, or one liners about new pictures. That just annoys people. The second thing to keep in mind, is that you may get a better reaction from readers by keeping your blog Safe For Work, even if your website isn't. Tease is a good thing. If all else fails, you can always start a blog that is basically a news feed. Not really original, but publicist...

I have to respectfully disagree with you flying_postman. The studios that are getting hit the hardest are the low budget, crank 'em out gonzo studios. It reached the point about five years ago where anyone with a handi-cam decided they could shoot porn, the market is flooded with exactly the type of "gonzo" stuff you are talking about. Most of them are gone now, they found out that they were lucky to get the production and packaging costs back, unless they were ava...
  • What kinds of storylines would you like to see in 11/16/2008 2:12:30 PM
Just a word of advice if you are trying to submit a script to anyone, whether it is adult or mainstream: Copyright your stuff. I know that you can do the "poor man's copyright", but when you are dealing with blind sends, it's better to have a formal and legal copyright in place. You also do not have to copyright each individual script. You can file together a series of scripts that you have written and copyright it as a collection. Registration for a formal copyright is about $45 and you can now copy right and submit all of your materials online at http://www.copyright.gov/ for around $35, and you have instant proof that you have begun the registration process. Otherwise, you have to wait for them to mail you the finished forms,...

As for the four hot stars of this movie... if the preview is to be believed, you would never even see them naked, let alone having sex. 'The Four' trailer was edited that way on purpose. It was aimed at a general audience/PG saing, so it could be promoted through YouTube, ComicCon, at AEE and cut into a PG-13/R rated feature film for mainstream.. At least that was the plan before the split. Ninn had a rough R cut ready by May 29, waiting for a distribution deal with a mainstream company. I have heard various dates of release, including the September 2008 date with the party (which neither came to pass.) I have no accurate information from any one inside of NWSR, however some m...
  • Who Would You Have As The Porn Spokesperson? 10/13/2008 6:27:55 PM
Two great choices IMHO: Kylie Ireland Julie Night Kylie is the better spoken of the two, because she has the most experience with interviews and she is a business woman who has been on both sides of the camera, as well as working in other industries besides adult. However Julie would throw the whole argument of "dumb, abused, uneducated, so she does this to make money" out of the window. I don't know how many posters on ADT are aware of Julie's background, but she's a scientist, doesn't need to do adult for money and does the hardest of the hard porn because she WANTS to. • AVN 'O9 predictions: 9/21/2008 3:27:48 PM
For performers award nomination criteria that will produce a win, there's only one category that shows a definite historical pattern: To win for Best New Starlet - the girl must do B/G. Jay and I started tracking that a couple of years ago, and going back as far as the winners records were available online, so we could check. Of the past winners for Best New Starlet, we couldn't find one that was girl only. Black and Blue Media: PR and Publicity
  • AVN 'O9 predictions: 9/20/2008 3:56:34 PM
But Eli, we are not just talking features. You deserved to win the features categories for those films, because you were the only one putting out something that original. Not every award is based on the advertising, and a lot of them aren't based on the count in one or two issues, it's the overall history of the company and the promotions they have done for their movies, and the strength of those movies, of course. I would never tell a client that wants to be nominated for their products not to advertise in AVN. That's all I'm saying. Black and Blue Media: PR and Publicity [Edited to add what I forgot.
