- Blue Ray vs. HD. Will Porn Industry Decide? 11/14/2008 2:21:06 PM Blu-rays are definitely being used now in porn videos. I think the future eventually do without blu-rays because everyone will be downloading, but in my opinion I still prefer having a hard-copy of a blu-ray instead of a downloaded copy saved to my HDD.
