It really does end up sounding like we're treating blacks as completely separate from the rest of the races and for some reason the apartness has a negative connotation rather than being the same of the differences between white/latin/asian. The racism lurking in our culture definitely has something to do with it, tho in saying so I'm not attributing it to any one individual, but the attitudes and mores that society holds that lead to marketing strategies like this.

  This is something thats struck me. There are many different races, white, asian, indian, etc. For some reason tho, when you look at inter-racial in the porn section, the vast majority of it is of the white woman/ black man or asian woman/black man variety. What ever happened to white man/black woman, or white man/asian woman or any other combination eg: asian man/black woman? You do sometimes find white male black female under the ebony categories, but the vast majority of ebony I've seen is black on black. When you do find white male/black female in the interracial section, but its usually labeled in some way that makes it obvious that its the women that are black as if it has to be its own category and the majority of the scenes are of th...
