How can we get them to release the older stuff in good quality again? I haven't subscribed yet, but I read that they ruined at least all of the old videos with crazy compression. Email them? Twitter? Or no chance?

The site went 4K in 2019. But I saw scenes from 2018 that were also in 4K. Are those upscaled? Or did they shoot in 4K before 2019 and could simply switch out the 1080p upload for the 4K version?
