RobHammer, I'm sorry to have taken so long to answer your question, about how and whether we test our performers, but I thought Paul Morris, founder and owner of Treasure Island Media, would be better able to answer it than I. So I asked him, and this is what he had to say: "The answer is that we're an atypical porn company: We deal with each man who comes to us as an individual. We do extremely thorough face-to-face interviews, and we have an equally thorough interview form which covers everything from fantasies and sexual history to sero-status for not only HIV but hepatitis, syphilis and all other STDs, drug use (crystal in particular) and so on. "If we're dealing with someone who routinely takes 30 to 40 loads a week from an...

JoeBlow69, I passed along your cumshot compilation idea to Paul Morris and he liked it. He said he'll take it up with Damon Dogg the next time they do a "Damon Blows America" DVD. As to the other posts, I endorse Strokin' Man's willingness to mind his own business and let other people mind theirs, and thanks for the kind words about the vids, SM! I have no idea what world Gay Satyr thinks he's describing in the second paragraph of his last post, but he knows nothing whatever about conditions prevailing at our studio. RobHammer, I wouldn't regard GaySatyr as a reliable source of information. Gay Satyr, get over yourself. You couldn't step on my toes if you spent the rest of your life trying.

As a newcomer to these forums, I want to thank joeblow69 for the technical advice--but NOT for the slur on Alabama. I'm not from Alabama and heaven knows I disagree with the majority of voters there on just about everything, but I just think it's a mistake in general to be so condescending toward other people and to underestimate their intelligence--which gets back to one of the points I tried to make previously. It has always been my experience, in every department of life, that if you treat people of any age like adults they'll behave as we all hope adults should (and even surprisingly young children will do this), and if you treat people of any age like children, they'll behave like children. Fifty years of treating adults as if they we...

Having read the interesting posts by JoeBlow69 and billyjizz, I asked Paul Morris, owner of Treasure Island Media, why we don't put warning disclaimers on some of our videos. This was the relevant part of his e-mail reply, reproduced here with his permission: "If the question is, 'what happens if someone watches one of my videos and doesn't know about safe/unsafe sex and seroconverts as a result?', then how is the producer's responsibility different from that of any video, film, or television show that shows or intimates sex of any kind? If a guy watches a vanilla video like one from Falcon or Titan or any of the other mainstream companies and then has sex just as they show in their videos but neglects to remember that the guy wore a ...
  • question I've always wanted to ask of gay men 4/11/2004 7:22 PM
Loraine, I love you! (Within my limitations, of course! : ) ) I've been looking for a good guys-kissing-guys gallery online, and the ones at <link> are the best I've seen to date by about a million miles! If everyone reading this thread would go look at even one or two of those galleries it might go a long way to answering a lot of their questions about what men see in each other and what it's like when men are in love with, or at least really attracted to, each other. As the quote from Shelley in one of the galleries puts it, &quot;Soul meets soul in lovers' kiss.&quot; The gender of the lovers really doesn't make any difference. As my link MAY not work (this is the first time I've tried to do one in these forums), those interested shoul...

Thanks for the answer, abradarba. And of course I didn't mean just you, about the kissing. Most of the reason why I asked is because I've heard so many Hollywood actors over the years say that kissing some other guy onscreen was &quot;the most difficult thing they ever did&quot; and so on. And it's like they expect the interviewer or the talk-show host to be just hugely appreciative of their &quot;bravery&quot; and &quot;daring.&quot; And I always think, What's so bloody difficult? What's the big deal? I've been kissing women all my life although I haven't been sexually attracted to them since I was 12. And I'm including some pretty serious frenching with the women I dated in college--to make my imitation of heterosexuality &quot;look good&...
  • question I've always wanted to ask of gay men 4/9/2004 8:37 PM
Thanks for the question, abradarba! The question you always wanted to ask is one that I, as a fag, have always wanted to answer! In my case, I assumed I was completely &quot;straight&quot; (like &quot;everybody else&quot; in the early 1960s) until I was about 12. I had already entered puberty and begun masturbating to newspaper photos of women like Ursula Andress and Brigitte Bardot--the major babes of that day! I also fantasized, eyes closed, about women in bed, alone, nude but just lying there. Gradually I realized that if I put a man in the fantasy-bed with the woman and they were like, y'know, doing stuff, the fantasy became much hotter. And THEN I gradually realized that if I forgot about the woman and just fantasized about the man, ...

Paul Morris, founder/owner of Treasure Island Media, and I both enjoyed the interview Billy Wild gave JoeBlow69 at gaydvdreview.com. We particularly enjoyed the part where Billy described his experience here on &quot;Riding Billy Wild&quot; as a &quot;low point&quot; in his life, given the fact that HE approached US to work with us--three times!--and the further fact that we have Billy on videotape saying that our studio is the best one he ever worked for! Almost equally amusing--except for the slur on our professionalism--were Billy's assertions that our people have &quot;no formal training&quot; (and where might one acquire FORMAL training in this industry--at the Harvard or Stanford Graduate Shools of Gayporn?) and that we're &quot;not ...
