  Wasn't gonzo created in part as a response to the artificiality of the features that were king in the late 90s? The main appeal for me in the gonzo genre is capturing the most authentic fuck scenes in the world of porn. I understand that there will always be some degree of theatricality in the business, but the cold business demeanor that jamesb23 is describing is certainly not what I want to see at all. BTS holds no value for me.
