- minus private, what co. has the best dvd vid qual? 7/7/2002 8:48 PM I'm talking about consistant near-perfect video quality with a decent menu system, etc. I am wondering what other companies out there really invest in the quality of their dvd as opposed to just porting some video to mpeg-2 onto a dvd disc, using a quick menu creator and slapping a $39 pricetag on it. That's the trouble with dvd it seems- when the video quality is bad, it seems even worse than vhs because it is so much more visible.
