  Move to a 64bit system, you can still run 32bit programs (advised for now), but the system is ready for the future (next 5 years or so) and is it performs better then 32bit system. Edited by - jonfr on 8/21/2007 1:42:56 AM

  I did look at the wiki <link> on it, it appears to be slower then 802.11g, but 802.11 is a standard for use indoors. If there is need for more speed, it is possible that a different standard and hardware is needed. 802.11a is also the oldest standard. Edited by - jonfr on 7/18/2007 1:26:30 AM

  The highest speed you can get on Wlan is 54mbps. That is using 802.11g standard. To connect to building together you can use repeaters or you can bridge two wlan stations together to form a single network. To broadcast between, use a directional antennas to do that, line of sight is preferred when you do this type of setup. Also, use a clear channel on the Wlan band, to get rid of interferences and slow speeds.

  I am using wordpress, I did just add a new layer of spam protection to my blog. I hope it holds. Last 24 hours was extremely bad, must be a new windows virus going on.

  I have been seeing a lot of spam bot activity on my blog in the last 24 hours. The spam attacks are heavy at the moment, but the spam bots are attacking my comment system. Has anyone here noticed the same thing here on there webpages or blogs. I really want to so that I can figure out if this is a attack on my site or if this a global spam attack by zombie computers.   I've never had a problem with posting here. If you are loosing post it is possible that your connection is lagging.

  Like all irc channels, this one needs to have one or two ops around when the childish people come around. So they can be kicked back and banned out into the wild.
