  Well I still stand by everything I've said. That is because I am in principal right. In fact it's pointless to wage this little rhetorical war any more. This all illustrates a difference in reasoning, logic, and acceptance of principals and acceptance or rejection of popular, if flawed, or valid information. I'm kind of sick of it actually. I really have gotten down to the basics in this discussion, even though I tried to avoid it. That means whoever read my words has chance to consider the issue.   I may as well add that this whole case isn't that different to what happened with the star of "Deep Throat" in about 1974. His name is Harry Reems (the lead guy) and he was worked over by the same system for similar reasons. Look him up for yourself and decide for yourself. In both cases it had to do with state law obscenity violations. In Max's case, there was the issue with interstate movie sales as well. All of it total muck of course. There is a documentary on it of particular interest. I just can't remember the name right off. I think it's the only one though on Deep Throat. I hope Max's case gets some biographic treatment too for the sake of the public's learning. D.J.

  I just have to weigh in here. I've read some of the posts and I can generalize that it's a kind of a love-hate thing for Max. The way I see it is this. This guy has been shooting porn for years and years, his way. Not yours and not someone elses. Like Frank Sinatra. His way. You don't have to like it. But if you beleive in freedom like Max does and like most of us do, then you ought to be dammed upset by this man being railroaded by narrow minded assholes and tossed into the slammer over doing what basically is done by lots of studios, and lots of directors, and lots of actors.
