  I have to say for me it has to be Al Pacino. He has tried to break Hollywood's type casting of him so I rate him for that. In my opinion (and it's just my opinion De Niro fans) Robert has done nothing after Raging Bull or Deer Hunter. I forget which of the two came last. I know some folks love Cape Fear, but for me he was way to hammy in that. Still, its all subjective.
