  This format war isn't as cut and dry as VHS vs DVD or BR vs HD-DVD.( I'm still a bit miffed over the demise of HD-DVD) Money not picture quality will determine the victor now. I don't envision the average consumer spending $500 on a BR player and disc that average 25-40% more than DVD. Unless Sony and others reduce the price of players by 60% and get a bit more competitive with BR disc DVD will rule the roost for years to come. Digital downloads via itunes and Netflix will muscle in on BR turf in the up coming months as well. Just in time for TWC and other internet providers to cap monthly bandwidth. Greedy fuckers.   I'm siding with P.T. on this one. The line between decency and obscenity is not an every expanding one. I think we hit an apex with scatology and bestiality. Besides you're really fucked in the head in that's the kind of media that does it for you. His films are not quasi-performance driven. Nothing simulated here. The industry will forever push the lid of the envelope and and anger social conservative groups which is always a good practice. The industry also does a good job a policing itself. They know what is acceptable and where to draw the line and Mr. Isaacs clearly stepped over the line. He is not a misunderstood artist.
