  I did some experimenting and the bottom line is that I may need to purchase a new tv. For context, the two tv’s I’ve tried are low end 32” models that are in bedrooms. They are also 5-10 years old. On the first tv, the USB port will display only pictures. On the second tv, it will display video, but only in motion jpeg format in 320 x something resolution. Ultimately, I tried our newest tv, which is about 5 years old, but a better quality brand. Not only would it play video, it would also recognize an ntfs formatted drive. While that tv is not conducive to porn watching, the concept has been proven. I’ll likely look for a good deal this upcoming Black Friday. Thank you for all of the assistance!

  Thank you to everyone for all the good ideas. I’ve got 2 tv’s, both with usb connections. However, only 1 will play video. I tried my portable hard drive, but I get an unknown file type error. I suspect I’ll have to reformat for it to work. I’m thinking that I may look to replace one of the two when prices are lower. I’ll definitely check out that LG.

  Thank you for the thoughtful replies. My TVs have USB ports, but one tv only displays pictures, not video. I do have a Samsung tv. I’ll need to check that and also check the formatting of the usb drive. I’ll also check the device on Newegg.

  I have subscriptions to sites that provide scenes rather than full DVDs. I have the scenes on a usb hard drive. I’d like to view the scenes on a tv, but haven’t figured out how to do so. Does anyone have any ideas?

  Perhaps I misunderstand, but it seems like “we not going to promote tube sites” has become “you may not mention tube sites.” For example, I posted a question about consuming porn. One option I mentioned was streaming pornhub. I was not promoting that, only mentioning it as one way of consuming porn. My comment was edited by the mods because of the mere mention of pornhub. Until technology renders them obsolete, tube sites will continue to exist and flourish. Having limits such that you cannot mention tube sites exist seems to force users to ignore reality. My $.02.

  As the father of teenage children, I’m with OP. Even though I know it’s fake, it just grosses me out. That said, I enjoy the sexual tension/buildup and wish there was more of that. And since I don’t like it, I don’t watch, as others have suggested.

  I’m hoping one of you can help me find a scene from the late 80s to early 90s. It was a lesbian group scene where they’re all on a large blue mat.   Despite being technologically savvy, I feel like I’m falling behind the times. I’ve got porn DVDs, but it’s clear that technology will render them obsolete like VHS tapes. What does everyone else do? I like to watch porn on my tv. My tastes run towards having some plot, so the clips sites don’t hold a ton of interest for me. Do I: - get a streaming service? (Ones available for tv seem very limited) - buy dvds, convert them and play them through a flash drive? - something else?
