- reviews for out of stock-orders 7/13/2012 10:20:37 PM The only company that does this on ADM is Excalibur. They claim in stock but then email you saying that the "DVD did not meet quality check standards"... complete BS!
- Excaliburfilms going out of business? 6/24/2012 1:16:25 PM Nookie_Monster wrote: They have not responded to my e mails and once I get my order or refund I am done with them (I suspect i will get neither!) it is a shame because I have purchased many titles over the years and been a good customer. Here is the kicker on cancelling your order. You have to wait three weeks or you are hit with a restocking fee. Makes no sense. The movie is not in stock, but you are hit with a re stocking fee. No other company in the industry does this.
- Excaliburfilms going out of business? 6/24/2012 1:14:55 PM Nobody cares about the rare, old titles. Excalibur takes for ever to ship your orders. From what I heard, they are behind on various producers in regards to invoices... even the big ones. Because of this, it can takes weeks for your order to ship. Years ago, orders shipped within a couple days... now, a couples weeks if your are lucky.
- Buying from Excalibur Films through ADM? 6/3/2012 12:43:32 AM First off.. Mike1120 works for Excalibur. Second... Excalibur fell by the wayside years ago. Their customer service went into the toilet. They never have new titles in stock. And now, they charge your credit card upfront and you have to wait three weeks to cancel or you will incur a "restocking fee"... for something NOT in stock. Their rental program sucks now. If you are on a four dvd plan, which I was, you have a limit of 8 dvds per month. But they take weeks to process new movies, you more like get two or three dvds a month. Now, they started charging for the monthly renewal almost a week before it is due. Just do yourself a favor, avoid them. Just not worth the headache.
- Why is Streaming Video so Expensive? 6/2/2012 2:17:57 AM Porn and DVDs are dead. Plan out simple. DVDs in mainstream will be around for along time. In porn, it is dead. Just a slow death and wish it was quicker.
- Discrete porn DVD rental without any bullcrap???? 6/2/2012 2:16:07 AM Mike1120 - another excalibur employee pretending to be a customer. Happens about once a year.
- Buying from Excalibur Films through ADM? 5/30/2012 11:20:27 PM Excalibur just went out of business. About a week ago. It is even on the BBB site. http://www.la.bbb.org/business-reviews/Mail-Order-and-Catalogs-Retail/Excalibur-Distribution-in-Brea-CA-13126342
- Discrete porn DVD rental without any bullcrap???? 1/7/2012 10:31:35 PM 100% agree with Peoples Temple. AVOID excaliburfilms.com!!! You will regret it if you do business with them. You have been warned!
- Which company? 3/16/2011 11:55:43 PM Adultdvdempire.com is the only place I buy from. Takes a little longer to get dvds since they are on the east coast (I am in California). But good prices, great service and actually have plenty of stock on hand. Excalibur? You have to be kidding! The went from one of the best to the worst. Probably one of the worse e-commerce websites out there. Horrible service, they never return your email, nothing in stock, selling used dvds as new, a slow and outdated website.. the list goes on and on.
- DVD Rentz review 1/19/2010 10:44:23 PM www.dvdrentz.com and www.hit-movies.com are both Excalibur. Avoid them. Poor customer service, long time to receive dvds, and they never have new movies in stock.
- Excaliburfilms going out of business? 8/22/2009 12:34:13 AM I was a customer of excaliburfilms.com for a while. Over the past years, the service has gone south. So, I decided to go to wantedlist.com. When I emailed wantedlist.com, they said that rumor in the industry is that excaliburfilms.com is going out of business. Anybody know if this is true? Has the recession really hurt them? Or just their services? Jeff
