  I purchased a copy of Babyface by TVX from Lasersedge. I can tell you that my DVD-R copy from my VCA VHS original is far superior in picture quality to the TVX DVD. If you have a VHS copy, don't bother buying the TVX dvd.

  I had the same freezing problem with Chapter 44 and it wouldn't play past that. It took two eXchanges before I finally got one that played problem free. My player is a Sony DVP-S700.

  I had 2 copies of Rogue 9 that wouldn't play past chapter 46 on my Sony 7000. Finally a 3rd copy played with no problem.

  An unedited version of Gangbang Angel #1 on DVD9 would help make up for the money I spent on the Patrick Collins hatchet job version. It was also the last Elegant Angel DVD I purchased. Not a quality issue, but in censorship is for worse.

  I have no problem problem at all with Ass Collector playing on my Sony 7000, so I don't think it's a problem with the DVD itself. Could just be a compatibility problem

  My complaint with EroDVD is total lack of response to e-mails. I placed an order over a month ago. Did not receive my order nor any responses. Aline usually is more customer friendly. Anyone know if they have been on a month vacation?

  Sorry. Wrong verdict Steve. I have a Sony S7000 Reference Standard player (not bragging either) and FH2 Freezes 1:37 into the movie. This is the only EA title I've had a problem with. Fortunately, it's a rental. I will wait for the kinks to be worked out before purchasing this title.

  VCA did, at some point, have the master to the original, unedited version of "Pamela Mann". I do have a VHS that does include the "rape" scene and it also includes the VCA label on he tape. Again, this "rape" scene at gun point is a fantasy acted out by Pamela Mann as revealed later in the film. So, it's not really a rape scene.

  greybeard- My apologies. When I referred to the VHS of Barbara Broadcast it was to the original 1977 Quality X Video and the 1980 Video X Pix. Both of which are unedited and still of excellent quality. Naturally when I read copy referring to the original master, I refer back to these videos. Sorry for any confuson.

  saki- I did not accuse VCA of anything. Simply stated a fact regarding the packaging on Barbara Broadcast. I buy many VCA titles. They are of high quality and have a great library of classics. I would never put Vivid in the same league. I wouldn't even consider watching a Vivid DVD.

  Steph- You seem to have no problem with VCA putting misleading ( to put it politely) statements in big, bold type in order to help sell the product, but have a problem with a statement on the bottom front stating that the dvd has been edited from it's original form. Many consumers purchase their adult dvd's on line. They can not hold the cover in their hands and read front to back. Many of the online stores do not have the option of showing the back cover. VCA could not tell me what previously edited material had been included on the Barbara Broadcast DVD. jeff jones

  Steph- Anyone who couldn't recognize the choppy, blotched editing of the final 12 minutes of Barbara Broadcast didn't watch the final 12 minutes. dexplore- What is edited out? The pee scene and the soft S/M scenes of Barbara Broadcast. You should definately check ot the original video versions of Barbara Broadcast and Private Afternoons of Pamela Mann to the view the film as the director intended. They are definitely tame by todays video standards. I would also recommend Metzger's Punishment of Anne and Naked Came The Stranger. Greybeard- I believe most people purchasing these classics are more interested in film and asthetics.These are not raincoaters. As for Barbara Broadcast, you mentioned the "edited" pee scene was included....

  I guess burying the "edited" disclaimer on the back of the packaging may be a little more honorable than the misleading disclaimer on the front cover of Barbara Broadcast touting "includes previously censored materials" and "restored from the original masters". If only VCA could release the rights of these great Metzger titles to a distributor who could do these great classic titles the justice they deserve, to be released in their original edits as the director intended. Certainly many of the contemporary titles today contain much of the "objectionable" material that has been edited out of these classics, but do not contain the wit and style of the master, Henry Paris.

  My Sony S7000 will not read some Evil Angel titles, including NAP 9 and Animal Trainer 4, but most I have no problem. I did have the firmware upgrade but that didn't solve the issue with those titles
