Blacked and a couple of other initiatives have done alot to combat the old culture and stigmas around IR, and many actresses have seen the experience as liberating; so the future looks bright for bucking that element of the old culture/taboo. As it stands, it's an easier thing for newer actresses versus others who have been in for a while (as it is with any break in old trends). With strong enough support from her fans, Misha will be free to do what she wants as opposed to what the industry says she should do.

America has a rather unique history and culture with respect to racism (and the denial of that part of it's history for some). As a consequence, that baggage kinda bleeds into everything that the culture touches. I like Misha's work. Yeah, I'd like to see her in a proper IR scene, but I do not blame her or think that she is racist for not doing so. In case many of you didn't really read into her responses, she is not kidding when she implies that the decision is not a light one. That isn't because of her personal preference for scenes, that is because of how the industry works.
