  Hi Guys, The scheduled releases so far are titled as follows: Swedish Erotica: Seka Special Swedish Erotica 1: Deep Throat and Anal Swedish Erotica 2: Asian Delights Swedish Erotica 3: Big Tits, Young Girls Swedish Erotica 4: Anal Superstars Each volume is 2 hours.   Hi Tilldawn, Wow, talk about timing. People are gonna think I put you up to asking the question! :) We will be releasing the first of our Swedish Erotica Hard DVD's in just about two weeks. The first title is the Seka Special volume, a collection of Seka's Swedish Erotica scenes. The schedule is to release one volume per month thereafter.   Hi Guys, Very glad to hear that you're excited about the Shane's World DVD's. I look forward to hearing someone's reaction to the commentary on SW2. We did both on the same day with a break for dinner between. Yvonne ordered a good bit of saki and when we got ready to start the second movie, she and Shane thought topless commentary would be fun.   Hi, Actually the first 6 are the only ones to have been put on DVD thus far. The original plan was to release all volumes in both series(Cumm Brothers and Creme de la Face), as they were wildly popular on VHS, but when we put out the first 6 they just didn't do very well. If there are lots of you who really want to see more of the series let us know. With enough requests I could probably get management to give the go ahead for more. Faron OGV

  Hi Again! Astro- For my taste Jon & Nic's Commentaries on Ectstasy Girls 1, 2 & 4 are about equal. I think 3 suffered a little because they were done in the same afternoon and they were a little tired going into the second round, still, IMHO, better than most I've heard.   Hi Guys, This is one of the hard parts of putting together a DVD and the opinions vary widely within the industry as well. I work with Directors who love to do commentaries and put together extras as an extension of the project and there are others who absolutely refuse to do any sort of behind the scenes materials for fear of harming the fantasy. I think there are very good points on both sides. There was once a DVD where I left out the behind the scenes footage completely because I felt that half the cast and crew would have come off looking pretty bad. By the same token, when I edited the extra footage for Trespass, I only had an extra cameraman on the set one day for two of the scenes and thought the behind the scenes would be really s...

  Hey guys, Interesting question. In all honesty it had never occured to me that I'd never seen an Asian-American in hetero porn till now. I know there have been a couple of asian guys in gay porn and then there's the stuff imported from Asia so I guess I just didn't notice that I never saw Asian guys in US vids. Being a production company we are always getting letters and photos from guys who want to be in adult movie.   Hi! Having contract girls might make a difference in how the decisions are made. At Odyssey we try to have the star of a movie on the cover but it doesn't always work out as planned. A couple of examples: We shot a feature and the star got angry at the director and refused to return for a box cover shoot. In another instance, the film shot for the box was destroyed in processing. The star had just left the country and wasn't scheduled back for two months, too late to reshoot her. On the gay side of the company we do have one contract performer but I know we've never used him on the cover unless he was the actual lead. Looking industry wide it's probably a combination of who's available and who the company thinks will garner the most sale...

  Hey M.B. As a matter of fact we do plan to release some more of the People's Choice compilations on DVD. I went back through our records and have picked the titles in the series that have been the most popular. Later this month we will release "John Stagliano's Dream Girls" and "The Bi-Sexual Experience". The following month will see "Christy & Ginger" and possibly a comp of several of Seka's scenes from features in the Swedish Erotica line.   Hi M.B. Girls Who Love John Holmes 1 & 2 each contain 15 scenes, all with John Holmes. I went back and checked both discs to be sure, and none are music only loops. Most of the scenes in part 1 are dubbed, some of the dubbing is really pretty good but others are so bad they're funny. I only counted 4 that seemed like true live sound. Part 2 is about half and half dubbed and live sound. The scenes are about 6 to 10 min. each. Some include the lead-in dialogue, most pick up as the sex begins.   Hi Guys, Reading through the posts noticed mention of the fact that the early Shane's World titles were held up because of the legal delays. Though you might like to know that the early stuff is finally going to make it to DVD! Shane is going through the source tapes for some funny behind the scenes stuff now and we recorded the commentary tracks for volumes 1 & 2 yesterday. Volume 2 should be especially fun as we used a camera and the commentary will be PIP and after a long sushi and saki break Shane and Yvonne decided to do topless commentary. Faron

  Hi Guys, This thread is pretty close to a question I've had in my head recently and thought you guys might want to give me some input. Jon Yuma and Nic Cramer recently started doing a line of videos for us. The idea from the beginning for them was to give the line a very high quality, "cinematic" look. To go along with that, they shoot in anamorphic widescreen format on video and the the VHS is letterboxed. The first 4 volumes were finished before they consulted with me about DVD so they edited with image already letterboxed. For all future volumes they are going to edit with the original image and output separate masters for DVD (anamorphic) and VHS (letterboxed).   Well, as of yesterday it's official that the first two will be Juranal Park and The Living End. My art Dept. just brought in all the photos from the shoot and I'll retreive the masters from the vault today to start working on the pre-production for the DVD's. I'm going to start calling today to see if there's any chance of getting either Leena or another of the major participants to do a Commentary Track. If all goes well we should have source materials gathered in about three weeks. Once that's ready the materials can go into menu creation, encoding and authoring.   Hey, Thanks for the input Joe Blow! It looks like you hit the nail right on the head. Feedback from you guys and other sources make it look like The Living End and Juranal Park will in fact be the first two titles headed your way. I hear your pain on the Shane's World titles. As I had mentioned in earlier threads, we had started work on the first three Shane's World titles for DVD when a disput occured between Shane and her former production company, Shane Enterprises. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like any of the first 18 titls will be released until that gets settled. I'll keep you posted if anything new develops. Faron

  Hi everyone, I'm glad this got brought back up. When this post was very active the first time through I tried a couple of times to compose a response that would make sense but not interfere with the pending legal case and do no damage to OGV's relationship with either Shane or Shane Enterprises. There's a lot I would like to say but don't feel comfortable with at the moment. I would like to point out one major difference in this situation as compared to all the others being brought up here, ie: Seymore Butts, Max Hardcore, etc. In the case of Seymore Butts and the others a director/performer created a character while in a business relationship with a production company which financed and owned the titles when completed.   Hey Sonic, When I went over the titles, re-read the reviews and tried to remember public reaction to these films when they were originally released I first thought the ones to start out with would be Nasty and Juranal Park. So far though we've got Blinded by Love and The Living End in the lead with Portrait of Dorian very close. I'd like to get around to releasing all Leena's titles. I wanted to get a good idea of what folks really wanted because Leena made over 20 movies with us and it could take a while to get them all out. Faron
